we have been exchanging motivational quotes to encourage each other.
so i thot y not jus record all these in one place for easy reference?
if anyone out there whom find these useful, feel free to use them.
i'll start with our first today:

i've taken this out from the SIAS Biz Daily. and here's the article to share:
It takes a certain amount of business savvy to know when and where to keep your mouth shut. Take a piece of advice from Honest Abe: do not underestimate the power of silence.
In any business setting, being silent does not mean you should be afraid to say what you think. Listen to what everyone else in the room has to say before you make your comments.
If you think what you have to say will still contribute value to the conversation, then have the confidence to bring it up. Before speaking, though, think about whether your thoughts will make a difference in the outcome of the situation. If you are not sure, it might be best to keep listening.
If you add your two cents but find your opinion is not well received or is not taken under advisement, then it is time to reassess what you want to get across and change your approach.
If your co-workers do not get your point, do not insist on being right. Instead, let them suffer the consequences as you quietly watch the rest of the conversation unfold.
Remember, if they do not listen to your advice, and their ideas do not pan out, you can always remind them of your thoughts the next time round.
